Lesson 3 Concept/Skill Development Flow Chart


Tactical Problem:  Getting away from a defender to receive a pass and invade space.
Skill development:  L-Cut and V-Cut incorporated in triangle offense
Teaching Points:
-see L-and V-Cut Drills
Organizational Points:
1)  2V2 Euroball- Use same groups as 2V2 keep- away, but this time #1's pair up and play against #2's.

L-Cut Drill

3)  Back to 2V2 Euroball and apply L-cut

4)  Interruption

V-Cut Drill

5)  Back to 2V2 Euroball and apply L-and V-cuts

 Rules:  1)  Ball carrier can only pivot
           2)  No overhead passing
           3)  Score by getting ball in hoola-hoop
Modifications:
-Use beanbags or basketballs
-let weaker team add 3max dribble or use end line as goal
